House Rules
1. We are a smoke-free home. We have lidded ashtrays on both the front and back porch if you need a place to smoke. We appreciate your adherence to this policy.
2. No fish frying in the house. We are in the process of purchasing a fish fryer to use outside.
3. Please keep your wet or muddy shoes on the provided shoe trays by the back door.
4. We have installed coat hooks on the wall in the laundry room to hang your jackets.
5. Please place your dirty towels in the provided laundry baskets for laundry service after you check out.
6. We have a drying rack in the laundry room for wet swimsuits or delicates you need to air dry.
7. Please notify us if anything breaks or is not working properly during your stay. We have a list of local service people we can contact for assistance.
8. Please store the kayaks, paddles and life vests in the locking outdoor shed when not in use.
9. We have provided a flat top grill and propane BBQ grill that you are welcome to use. Please make sure that the propane is turned off when not in use.
10. There is a Bonfire fire pit available for your use also. We recommend using it on the gravel to prevent any embers from catching fire on the grass or surrounding trees. Firewood is available in a stack by the owner’s quarters in the storage building behind the house.
11. Fishing poles are stored in the outdoor shed and available for your use. Please return them to the outdoor shed when not in use.
12. Please collect and put your trash in the garbage bin on Sunday night. The trash service runs on Monday morning.
13. Please put the window shades down prior to check out. This helps keep the house cool in the summer.

How to Lock the back door when leaving the home:
1. Press the Schlage button on the lock.
2. Rotate the deadbolt that is under the keypad toward the door opening, engaging the deadbolt.
3. The door does NOT lock automatically so please lock the door when you leave.
4. If you are unable to lock the door, please call 888-512-0498 and a Vacasa representative will assist you.
Trash pick up is on Monday morning. If you stay includes a Monday, please put trash in the trash bin provided and leave the bin at the road for pick up on Monday morning.
Check Out:
Set cool to 79 degrees in the summer months. In the winter months, please set heat at 60 degrees. Place towels used during stay in provided laundry baskets and leave in laundry room. We have someone come in to clean, so no need to put them in the washing machine. Please put window shades down before leaving the house.
Please make sure that front and laundry room door deadbolts are locked from the inside.
Please wash any dirty dishes in the dishwasher and hand wash pans used in the sink. We have a drying mat on the counter, and a drying rack under the sink you can use.
